Ingredients
  • ¾ cup old fashioned oats
  • 1½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 Tablespoons cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • toppings: cacao nibs, kiwis, melted chocolate, peanut butter, bananas, blueberries, hazelnuts, toasted coconut, etc.
Instructions
  1. Toast oats in a medium frying pan over medium heat for 1 minute.
  2. Add milk and cacao powder.
  3. Cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring whenever milk froths until milk starts to simmer.
  4. Once simmering, lower heat to medium-low and continue to stir until milk is nearly all absorbed.
  5. Transfer oats to a medium bowl and stir in honey.
  6. Add toppings.
