Has anyone else been really dreading winter coming? I have and it’s about time I stop. Fall is almost in full-bloom and I just need to remember that it’s my favorite season. Who cares that winter comes after fall?
Smoothies are how I stay connected to summer. It’s just impossible not to feel happy and sunny when I drink smoothies. Plus, watermelon can make anything refreshing.
I just created another website called Ella Smith Photography, so make sure you check it out! It’s solely for my photography, which believe it or not, is not all food. I actually have been taking some of the senior photos for my classmates, which has been really fun.
High school is really kicking my butt, unfortunately. I’ve never been so busy in my whole life. With notes, projects, clubs, studying, college apps, blogging and taking senior photos on top of that, I’m so exhausted. Wish me luck. I’m gonna need it.
Anyways, smoothies! Who doesn’t love a refreshing smoothie? Even in fall. Watermelon season is almost over, so stock up so you can make the most of the time you have left. This smoothie is:
Fat and added sugar-free
- 3 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 cup 100% orange juice
- 4-6 strawberries or raspberries
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- Combine all in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into 2 medium glasses or 3 small glasses and serve right away.
